Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir

One of Delhi's oldest Jain temples, Shri Digambar Jain Lalmandir, is directly opposite the Red Fort. The statue of Tirthankara was placed here first by one of the Mughal Jain warriors being considered. The Temple is also famous for its bird hospital and elaborate work on the ceiling. This is one of Delhi's oldest Jain temples.

Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple

A famous Hindu temple representing traditional Indian culture, history and architecture. The temple was developed by the spiritual head of Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha, Pramukh Swami Maharaj. 11,000 craftsmen and volunteers were involved in the construction and opened in 2005. The entire structure of the temple is built without steel, with more than 200 intricately carved columns, nine beautiful domes, 20 towering towers, and a stone elephant base. Mandir's structure is a mixture of pink sandstone and white marble.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib

A Sikh temple Built to commemorate the visit of Guru Har Krishan Ji, the eighth guru of Sikhism. This magnificent temple was built in 1783 by Sikh General Sardar Bhagel Singh, who oversaw the construction of nine Sikh temples in Delhi. The complex includes a main prayer hall, a sacred lake, a hospital and a large community kitchen. Those who visit here receives free community meals. When entering, you should cover your head, take off your shoes and socks, and wash your feet. The chant connects you directly to the power of God.

Lotus Temple

The magnificent structure dedicated to the Bahá'í Faith is one of the seven Bahá'í Houses of Worship in the world and was completed in 1986. The temple seeks to spread the unity of mankind, thus, is open to all, regardless of nationality, religion, race or gender. When you visit the complex, you'll come across a fascinating entrance gate, a beautiful flower garden, and a sparkling pool. The path leading to the temple door is lined with lush shrubs. You will experience a new kind of meditation in a completely different and blissful atmosphere.
